Reader Request: My (Quick) Top Ten For 2012

Reader and fellow blogger Mihir Bhagat recently commented on Game Delver: How about a quick top 10 list of games in 2012? I think everyone would simply cherish that.

I aim to please, so here goes:

10. Planetside 2 (PC)

9. Final Fantasy III (Android)

8. Bad Piggies (Android)

7. Awesomenauts (PC)

6. Guild Wars 2 (PC)

5. Civilization V: Gods & Kings (PC)

4. Cargo Commander (PC)

3. FTL: Faster Than Light (PC)

2. Halo 4 (Xbox 360)

1. XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PC)

Of course, I am a cheapskate so, for the most part, I don’t buy many games when they come out unless they start at an affordable price.  There are definitely some exceptions on this list however, a few of which I went as far as preordering.

That of course means my list doesn’t have that much meaning to it, since I haven’t had a chance to play notable games like The Walking Dead or Mark of the Ninja.

Thanks again to Mihir Bhagat for the request! You can visit his blog, The Rookie Blogger, at http://mihir94.wordpress.com/.

  1. Great list! I couldn’t agree more
How about Temple Run on the list? Its one hell of a game for cellphones!

And any word on how Assassins Creed III, MOH:Warfighter and COD: Black Ops 2 fare?

    • Temple Run is definitely up there, but I first played it on iOS last year, so I felt it didn’t count.

As for the rest, those aren’t series I really play or play anymore. My last Medal of Honor was Allied Assault for instance, haha.
